Good evening from Santa María de los Llanos in central Spain. Radio Delta was coming through nicely on 6190 kHz tonight, and I had the opportunity to listen in two very different ways.
I first listened outdoors using my Tecsun PL-368 with nothing more than its telescopic antenna. Later, I continued listening at home with my Panasonic RF-3100L and an amplified loop antenna. It is always interesting to hear how the same shortwave signal sounds on different receivers and antennas.
The reception was good, with a SINPO of 34433. I especially enjoyed the music and the excellent modulation — something I have come to appreciate when listening to Radio Delta.
I recorded two videos of the reception as a memory of the evening. For me, this is part of what makes shortwave so enjoyable: taking a portable radio outside, tuning around the bands and then continuing the same listening experience back at home.
Radio Delta — the best of shortwave!
Greetings from Spain,
