I have been listening to Radio Delta almost every weekend for several years now. From my home in Rijssen, about 50 kilometres southeast of Elburg, 6190 kHz has become a familiar place to find the station.
For this reception I was using my Lowe receiver together with a Wellbrook ALA1530 magnetic loop, installed indoors on the top floor and directed northwest. Radio Delta was coming in very well, with a SINPO of 55544.
I really enjoy the professional sound of Radio Delta and the work Aart puts into the station. Over the years I have also come to know him as a real gentleman.
There is another connection for me as well. Every year I visit Elburg, and I always enjoy its nostalgic atmosphere and its history as an old fishing town. That makes listening to a shortwave station transmitting from Elburg just a little more special.
