I live in Montbron in southwest France, where I enjoy listening to shortwave radio from home.
On 19 September 2026, I tuned in to Radio Delta on 6190 kHz at 19:30 UTC using my ATS receiver and GA-800 active loop antenna.
I had recently mounted my antenna higher, and what a difference it made! The reception was fantastic that evening, with a strong and clear signal from the Netherlands. I recorded a SINPO of 55445.
I particularly enjoyed hearing “A Little Bit of Love” during the broadcast. The excellent reception and great music made it a very enjoyable evening of shortwave listening.
It is always exciting to see how a small improvement to an antenna can make such a big difference. Radio Delta was coming through beautifully here in southwest France!
