Two Saturdays with Radio Delta from Schwedt
I have been enjoying Radio Delta from my home in Schwedt, in the north-east of Germany close to the Polish border.
On Saturday, 12 September, I tuned to 6190 kHz at 18:30 UTC with my Bajeton BJ9000 and its 130 cm telescopic antenna. The signal reached me well here in Schwedt, with a SINPO of 45344. I really enjoyed the programme that evening, especially hearing music from Fleetwood Mac and the other songs in the programme. It was a very nice evening of shortwave listening.
A week later, on Saturday, 19 September, I returned to 6190 kHz. This time I tuned in at 17:55 UTC, again using the same Bajeton BJ9000 and telescopic antenna. Once again Radio Delta came through well, this time with a SINPO of 45434.
It was good to spend another Saturday evening listening to the station and enjoying the music. Receiving Radio Delta here in Schwedt, not far from the Polish border, has now become something I have enjoyed on several weekends.
