- Hello, thanks for you broadcast. This was my first time ever to receive Radio Delta International. Reception was excellent this morning. However, there was annoying RTTY or other digital type signal disturbing your broadcast with 10-15 second bursts in slightly lower frequence, 6018-6019 kHz. That could be avoided by using USB mode easily. Here are some details from your programme: 6:20 UTC Radio Delta International song in Flemish language 6:24 UTC "Tämä on Radio Delta Alankomaista" in FINNISH ! 6:25 UTC Amazing by Aerosmith 6:26 UTC RTTY ? distubance 6:30 UTC Info about new transmitter and listening reports 6:31 UTC "This is Radio Delta" 6:31 UTC Caribbean Queen by Billy Ocean 6:35 UTC "This is Radio Delta alive" 6:36 UTC Wake up little Susie by the Everly Brothers 6:37 UTC RTTY ? disturbance on 6018-10 kHz 6:38 "This is Radio Delta" 6:38 UTC Is there something I should know by Duran Duran Thanks for your broadcast again. Keep up the good work. Best Regards, Petteri Koli

- This section contains a detailed description of signal quality and program details. I’m pleased to report reception of your test transmission. Your direct signal was not heard here in Austin, so I used my go-to remote receiver for listening to low(er)-power European stations, especially during local daylight. Your signal quality was SINPO = [S5] [I4] [N4] [P4] [O4] with the following characteristics: Signal Strength: The signal strength was generally S9+10 to S8+20 on the SDR’s bar S-meter. I judged the signal excellent = 5 Interference from other stations: There was slight interference from stations on 6000 and 6011 kHz. I was able to eliminate most of it by narrowing the passband by one KHZ on each sideband. I judged the signal very good = 4 Noise from the atmosphere and other sources: Atmospheric noise was typical for the frequency, time of day, and season. I judged the signal very good = 4 Propagational effects of ionospheric fading and other issues: There was occasional fading of 10 dB. Since the signal started at least S9+10 dB, there was only a slight effect. I rated the signal very good = 4 Overall quality of your signal: I rated the signal very good = 4. Attached are an audio clip and a waterfall screenshot from approximately 2115 UTC so you can hear and see your signal. Here’s what I heard with approximate times: 2114 UTC - Tune in 2118 - Polka (Shazam couldn’t identify) 2122 - Man with station ID and website 2124 - “Hokey Pokey Polka” by Frankie Yankovic and His Yanks 2127 - Radio Delta ID, into polka that Shazam couldn’t identify 2130 - “Marian Polka” by Fritz Stein 2133 - Radio Europa ID, into “Mark Polka” by Frankie Yankovic and His Yanks 2135 - Radio GaGa ID +++++Just Listening+++++ 2159 - Audio that I sent you, tune out. I’m not a great fan of polkas, especially since I don’t know how to dance them. What I heard was okay, though. I about fell out of my chair when I hear “Hokey Pokey Polka. The real version of the song is probably the most requested at weddings. The bride always tells the band not to play it because it’s so obnoxious!
