On December 8, 2024, as the chilly winter air enveloped his home, George discovered that he could receive a special broadcast from Radio Delta on 6170 kHz. Familiar with technology from his time, he used his cherished Ferguson 378 Studiotone Console radio, a true masterpiece from 1936.
George proudly shared that this radio features an impressive 12-inch speaker and is a piece that requires the strength of two people to lift! Nostalgia washed over him as he listened to the warm sounds and engaging programs of Radio Delta on this old but reliable radio.
George was so thrilled about his listening experience that he sent in a stunning photo of his unique receiver. It’s a real treat for all radio enthusiasts and collectors of vintage equipment!
